STEWARDSHIP - We get to purchase $250 worth of marketing materials without paying for them. How? We've been faithfully entering a contest and we finally won the drawing. We pride ourselves in being good stewards. If you ever question how we are using your monetary donation, please ask. Know that just because we own it, doesn't mean we bought it. :)
Most Current/Urgent Need for Moms:
Girls 2T clothing. . . we are completely out!
Size 4 diapers! For some reason, this is a popular size.
Infant toys, such as rattles, rubber ducks, baby noise makers or flashy toys. Think 0-3 months.
Nice quality, and decent maternity clothes, XS and XXL, then all sizes in-between.
Most Current/Urgent Needs for the Center:
We need a decent step stool, one step, for the ultrasound table. New Lobby chairs to replace the broken and mismatched would be nice.
On-going Needs:
We are most often in need of NEWBORN clothing, onesies and outfits, newborn, or 0-3 month.
We are always in need of new or gently used baby clothing, new baby bottles and baby toys (rattles, nuks, teethers etc.)
For Books: We are currently registered at ChristianBooks.com for books we use in our ministry, books we want to use in our ministry, and books we want to give as encouragement to those who plan on studying the bible with us. Visit us on facebook to get the details, or scroll further down this page.
For Baby Showers: If you are doing a baby shower, or shopping for Care Net, remember we are registered at Kohls, Target and Wal-mart. Have a favorite store you'd like us to register at? Drop us a note and we'll consider it.
For Clothing/blankets:Please keep in mind that items should be 'baby shower' quality. We try to give 'baby shower in a bag' layettes to our women.
For toys: Anything that goes in baby's mouth needs to be new or not used. (Teething rings, nipples, Nuks etc.) Toys should not have teeth marks on them.
Maternity clothes: Remember, if you won't wear it, our clients probably won't either. Our clients LOVE jeans or black slacks and maternity clothing that looks like their 'normal' clothing. Many are not Christians, range in age from 14 to 44 and in size from 4 to 26. We encourage clients from Meta House or other shelters to come for maternity clothing.
For material donations, we will mail out a thank you card. Please let us know at time of donation if you need a slip for taxes.
